my first hard rock concert was nugent in 83; krokus opened. they were FANTASTIC. totally gave me the concept of how a rhythm guitarist can as cool as a lead guitarist. their songwriting was
 mediocre (with obvious exceptions), but their performance, professionalism and presence were all outstanding. compared with nugent, whose ego prevented the lead singer from receiving any attention at all, krokus had a great "band" presentation, comparable to that of kiss or van halen. really.

The year was '83, and the main course for the night was rock and roll. For starters, we chugged what seemed to be 100 gallons of beer, did some ludes, smoked a spliff, then off to see Krokus and Def Leppard. That night was prolly the best night ever. Just hard rock and my buds. I'm 46 now
 and get off watching Cupcake Wars and Lizard Lick Towing. Go figure

 well when Headhunter came out.It was a solid effort from these guys.And then I dont know what the hell happened!They became just another filler video band for MTv when theyd play anyband that wore leather and spikes.But Headhunter was and still is a great album
